What is an "RP"?

The term RP means role playing. One writes about his or her character, and waits for one or more people to respond to your characters actions with their own character. This can extend from dreaded one-liners to essay rpers. Chances are, if you do not know what an "RP" is, then this is not the place for you.

What is "OOC?"

Answer #2.
The term OOC is an acronym for "Out of Character". Out of character talk is when you speak in your own voice. Chances are, if you do not know what this is, you are a n00b. If you happen to be a literate n00b, you are welcome to stay. But, if not, leave.

Are one-liners welcome in Aldea?

Answer #3.
No, only paragraphs and essays are allowed in Aldea. If you are a one-liner, hell no.

May I advertise my own role playing chat in AldeaRP?

No. If you wish to advertise your role playing chat, note me, =ShadowOfTheDeity, and I will take a look at your RP. If I deem it suitable to be affiliated with Aldea, I will note you in return. I will then place your RP in a link in Aldea.

I have been banned. Is there any way I can come back?

Depending on your offense, there is a way you can appeal the banning process. Just note me, and I will review it.

I'm having trouble making up a setting for my rp. Is there a layout of Aldea?

I was charged with bunnying and god-modding, and was banned. What do those two terms mean?

It means you did not read the rules thoroughly, and that you deserve to be banned.

I am having trouble with my profile. What is "power(s)" and "weakness(es)"?

The term power(s) means the skills, abilities, and magical powers your character possesses.

The term weakness(es) means the elements, weapons, and illnesses that can ultimately damage your character.

Another person killed my character. Is that allowed?

No. Report that deviant to me immediately, or report it to one of the other admins.

Who and what are these "admins" you keep referring to, =ShadowOfTheDeity?

The term admins is short for "administrators". These people have the power to kick, ban, and promote you. See "Rules and Administrators" for listings.

How many characters can I have?

As many as you like.

What is "yaoi" and "yuri"? And what does it mean "permitted in moderation"?

The term yaoi means boy love, or love between two boys (or more <.< ).

The term yuri means girl love, or love between two girls (or more <.< ).

Both are permitted in moderation, meaning that there is no sex.

Am I allowed to jump in on any rp I see?

No. You must ask permission first.

Can I use a character that has not been approved?

Answer #14.
No. You must have everything approved. If you start rping with this unapproved character, you will be warned. If you persist, you will be banned.

Are there Sonic-type characters allowed in this rp?

No, never. Just get out now if you intend on doing that.

Question #16.
Can I use a character already created by a manga/anime/movie/whatever? For instance, like Inuyasha or Yagami Light from Death Note?

No. Only original characters. You may use pictures of anime characters for detail, but if I find the description like their anime/manga/movie/whatever counterpart, you will be warned. If you have to be warned again, you will be banned.
